Vegetable Ham Soup

Here is a light vegetable and ham soup that will leave your heart feeling warm and your tummy feeling full. Feel free to add more/less ingredients to your own soup.

– edamame beans
– 2 cups of kale
– 4 slices of celery
– 2 large carrots
– 1 onions
– 2 potatoes
– 1 1/2 cups of ham
– 1 tsp of minced garlic
– 1 tsp of pepper
– 1 tsp of hot pepper flakes
– 1 tsp bay leaves
– 10 cups of water
– 10 tsp of chicken broth (see image bellow)

Add all ingredients in the slow cooker or in a pot and cook on high until all the vegetables are cooked. However, you may also cook this recipe on low for a longer period of time. Enjoy!
